LevelBeacon guide

LevelBeacon chart examples

These examples teach how to read LevelBeacon in context. They are not win-rate claims and should not be used as proof that a similar future chart will produce the same result.

Use examples to learn interpretation—not to infer guaranteed performance

The screenshots in this guide are real LevelBeacon chart states supplied from TradingView. They demonstrate what the indicator looks like in different conditions. They are illustrative chart states, not a performance report, and a historical reaction does not guarantee the same outcome next time.

Example 1 — support location

Read this from left to right: location first, then Strength, then the relevant timeframe group. Do not start by asking whether the next candle will be green.

Example 2 — resistance location

A resistance role gives bearish ideas a structurally appropriate location, but price can still break through it.

Example 3 — split short- and higher-timeframe context

The 1m, 5m and 15m dots are green; 1H, 4H and 1D are red. On this 5m chart, the relevant group is two green and one red. This is partial bullish agreement, not full bearish alignment.

Example 4 — mixed MTF context

Mixed dots are not a malfunction. They tell you different time horizons disagree; that can justify waiting for cleaner context.

Example 5 — WATCHING

WATCHING means no strict setup is currently latched. An Opportunity can still occur while the chart is WATCHING.

Example 6 — BULL ACTIVE and BEAR ACTIVE

BULL ACTIVE records a recent fresh bullish Setup that is still within the active state life.
BEAR ACTIVE records the bearish counterpart. Live Strength can continue changing while the state remains active.

Example 7 — confirmed setup markers

A BULL marker appears only on a fresh confirmed strict setup that passes the setup quality gate.
A BEAR marker is the bearish strict setup event; it is not the same as a Bearish Opportunity alert.

Example 8 — previous levels and frozen readings

Previous level readings remain frozen snapshots. They are useful for context and review, not a live opinion about old price zones.

How to study your own screenshots

  1. Write the symbol, feed and timeframe.
  2. Mark the active blue level and its role.
  3. Record Bull/Bear Strength.
  4. Write the three relevant MTF colors.
  5. Record WATCHING/BULL ACTIVE/BEAR ACTIVE.
  6. Note whether an Opportunity or strict Setup happened.
  7. Only after that, record what price did next.

This order reduces hindsight bias because you capture what LevelBeacon actually showed before judging the outcome.

Walk through two screenshots without hindsight

Support screenshot: bullish pressure, extended location

The support example shows Bull 75.6% and Bear 24.4%, with WATCHING beside the blue level. On its 5m chart, the 5m and 15m dots are green while 1H is red. Price is already above the reference: do not infer an entry simply because Bull leads. A static picture cannot prove that Opportunity passed its distance test at an earlier close.

BEAR ACTIVE screenshot: separate the event from current context

The BEAR ACTIVE example shows Bull 41.5% and Bear 58.5%. The state records a recent Setup; the percentages describe the current displayed context. The marker is above an earlier candle, not an instruction to sell at the screenshot’s latest price. Check location and your risk plan again.

A practice task

Cover the candles to the right of the point you are studying. Write down what was visible then, what confirmation your plan requires, and what would make you wait. Reveal later candles only after recording that decision. These images show chart states, not executed trades or trade results.
